About this item
Very pretty cabinet plate by Aynsley with a lovely shaped rim, and apple green ground with finely gilded garlands and floral bouquets. In the centre is a painted scene of Loch Leven Castle signed by the renowned porcelain artist Frederick Micklewright. Dating from the early 20th century, c.1910. Marked to the back, with the scene location hand written also.
It measures 21.5cm (8 1/2") wide.
Condition is very good; no damage or restoration. A couple of very light surface marks and a bit of rubbing to the gilding but nothing to detract from such a pretty piece.
