    About this item

A sweet early 19th century porcelain coffee can from the Barr, Flight & Barr period Worcester porcelain manufactory, c.1807-1813. A deep frieze, edged in gold, of butterflies sitting on holly leaves with other stylised foliage in shades of brown and gold. Gilt rim and band around the foot and pretty pattern up the back of the ring handle. Impressed BFB mark to the base.

    It measures 6cm (2 3/8") high, 6.4cm (2 1/2) rim to rim and 8.9cm (3 1/2") rim to handle.

Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. Minor handling wear only, just a little rubbing to the gilding on the top of the rim. There is a tiny area above the foot where the glaze didn't make it quite to the base.
