About this item
A stylish Edwardian silver sauceboat, of good size and pedestal form stood up on a stepped oval collet foot. Pretty card cut rim and a very nice double scrolled reeded handle with cast acanthus leaf detail. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1902, maker Isadore Leapman.
It measures 14.2cm (5 3/4") high to the handle, 19cm (7 1/2") long and 9cm (3 1/2") wide. It weighs 205g / 6.6ozt and has a 1/2 pint (280ml) capacity.
In excellent condition with no damage, dents or repairs. Minor handling wear, no marks or scratches, some wear to the hallmarks.
