About this item
A good Bow porcelain figure of a small boy / putto holding a basket of flowers. A sash of leaves and flowers and a similar headdress. c.1755-1765.
Reference: Bow Porcelain by Adams & Redstone, plate 139 shows a very similar figure.
It measures 13.5cm (5 1/4") high and just over 5cm (2") wide.
Condition is very good. There has been a small amount of plain restoration to the lower sides of the tree trunk at the back. The leaves hanging over the front of the basket also have been fabricated and touched in to match. A slight nibble to two fingertips but otherwise no damage. Minor handling wear.
