    Staffordshire England

    1872

This Victorian aesthetic 15 3/4 " long x 13 " wide platter is transfer printed in the darkest  brown.

The clear and crisp NORMAN pattern features repeating geometric designs and flower insets along the border.  In the well of the platter is a magnificent castle and stems of wildflowers.  A vignette of a punt and a sailboat traversing a lake with a distant landscape.  The pattern displays the victorian eras love of nature and travel to exotic lands.
