About this item
A nice Chamberlain's of Worcester porcelain waisted sucrier and cover with double ribbed spiral fluted walls and accompanied by a matching teapot stand. Painted in pattern number 190 with lemon yellow enamel bands around the rims, edged in gilt with barbeaux type cornflowers sprigs in blue and pink enamel with gilt leaves and a gilt stylised floral frieze and knop detail. The cover marked on the inside "Chamberlains Worcester No. 190" in purple script and the stand marked with "190". c.1800.
It measures 14cm (5 1/2") long by 10.5cm (4 1/8") wide and 13.3cm (5 1/4") high. The stand measures 15.2cm (6") by 11.8cm (4 5/8") wide.
In very good condition with no damage, repair or restoration and only minor handling wear, mainly just to the gilt on the stand in places.
