About this item
A pretty Chelsea porcelain dessert plate with shaped gilt dentil rim with moulded detailing, painted in bright enamels with fruit and bugs. Gold anchor mark to the back. c.1760.
It measures 23.8cm (9 3/8") wide and 3cm (1 1/8") deep.
In very good condition with no damage, repair or restoration. Two very minor gilt losses on the rim and some minor stacking wear to the enamels in a few places. It has had a hole drilled through the foot rim to fit a ring for wall mounting.
