About this item
A pretty shallow Chelsea porcelain bowl very finely painted with floral sprays in a delicate pastel palette with red-brown enamel rim. Red anchor and stilt marks to the base. c.1755.
It measures 16.2cm (6 3/8") wide and 3.2cm (1 1/4") high.
Condition is very good: there is a tiny (1mm) fleabite to the rim and the glaze has flaked immediately around it. No other issues or restoration and very light handling wear. There are some small areas of glaze crazing here and there.
