About this item
Pretty 18th century Derby porcelain "spectacle" plate with decorative shaped and pierced edge and moulded applied yellow daisy flowers with puce centres. The centre is painted in enamels with floral sprays in the style of the "cotton-stem" painter in puce, orange, yellow and green. Dark red/orange enamelled rim. Unmarked c.1760.

It measures 18.7cm (7 3/8") wide and 2.8cm (1 1/8") high.
Condition is very good: there are 2 small chips to the foot rim. No other damage or restoration and very light handling wear.
