    About this item

    A good Derby porcelain figure of the female half of the Garland Shepherds, a young woman standing on a simple domed base with applied flowers draping a garland around the neck of a sheep. Painted in a mix of enamels with gilt highlights. Patch marks, c.1765.

    She measures 20.2cm (8") high and 7.5cm (3") by 8cm (3 1/8") wide.

    In very good condition with just some small chips to the brim of her hat and to some of the flower petals and leaf edges as is usual. No repairs or restoration and minor handling wear.
