VERY EARLY CREAMWARE PINK LUSTRE CHILDS MUG

A PRESENT FOR MY DEAR GIRL

    Staffordshire England  ~

    c. 1820

This desirable mug from the Staffordshire region of England stands a mere 2 1/2 " tall x 2 1/4 " wide excluding the applied handle.

A wonderful creamware mug with a lustre band along the rim.  The transfer feature a naive scene of a Mother and Child.   The inscription reads A PRESENT FOR MY DEAR GIRL.
