This 2 5/8" high x 2 3/4" diameter child's mug, excluding the applied, has a crisp image transfer printed in rich blue with great four color polychrome hand painting, clobbering in shades of red, golden yellow, green and cobalt blue.
The image is part of the Bible Tales series coveted by collectors. This transfer, rarely seen on the market, will be a special abc mug in your collection.
In addition to the entire ABC alphabet transfer with the classic Brownhills decorative clover transfer, this mug has a central scolled cartouche of Noah with the Ark in the distance.
Condition is great, clean shiny and bright. An under the glaze chip off the rim made during the potting of the piece.
