AESTHETIC BROWN TRANSFERWARE PLATE
DEER & WATERFALL
Made in the Staffordshire Region of England c. 1880
This large Victorian aesthetic movement 9 3/4 inch dinner plate is transfer printed in dark brown. The printed transfer features an oversized exotic roses in bloom surrounded by whisps of wild grasses. A cartouche of a female deer and her young doe and another cartouche of a landscape with a large waterfall.
The piece is in great condition. Clean shiny and bright and there are no chips, no cracks, no hairline and no repairs. Light utensil wear.
