    About this item

Sweet little Worcester porcelain sparrow beak cream jug painted in polychrome enamels with the Chinese Family pattern, c.1770, with an underglaze blue frieze running inside the rim.

    It measures 8cm (3 1/8") high, 8.3cm (3 1/4") spout to handle and 6cm (2 3/8") wide.

Condition is fair; the handle has been restored  and the rim where it joins, and the body around the handle and under the base have been over-sprayed to blend in. The enamelling is in nice order with little wear and no fritting to the spout. There is a small dip in the rim which is from firing.
