About this item
A nice Worcester porcelain sparrow beak cream jug decorated with the printed "fisherman & cormorant" / "pleasure boat" pattern, c.1775. Underglaze blue pseudo chinese "disguised" mark under the base.
It measures 9cm (3 1/2") high, 6.5cm (2 1/2") wide and 8.3cm (3 1/4") handle to spout.
Condition is very good, there are 2 small nicks to the very tip of the spout and a fine hairline running down one side of the spout. No restoration and minimal surface wear.
