    Pretty early Worcester shallow bowl/dish or deep bowled plate with scallop shaped edge with gilded rim and painted in a French green enamel in a band around the rim with serrated inner edge mirroring an inner ring framing a conventional flower with gilded stem and leaf decoration, c.1770. 

    Referenced in "Coloured Worcester Porcelain Of The First Period" by Marshall, plate 33, item 711.


    It measures 8 3/8" (21.5cm) wide and 1 3/8" (3cm) high.

    Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Light surface wear, mainly to the gilding on the rim and a very small section of the outer green border at the bottom showing slight oxidation.
