About this item
Lovely large Worcester slop bowl decorated in the imari style with exotic flowers in red and blue with gilded highlights within blue rimmed reserves running around the lower part of the bowl. The upper part has alternating reserves of the same exotic flowers and wet blue ground with gilded diaper pattern with rings around the intersections and dotted with daisy flowers.
It measures 7.5cm (2 7/8") high and 16cm (6 1/4") wide.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration and minimal surface wear externally. On the inside there is a bit more so and a central painted flower has had the petals rubbed.
