About this item
An early Worcester blue and white porcelain butter boat painted with "The Butterboat Mansfield" pattern, c.1758-1760. Finely textured geranium leaf moulded exterior and stalk handle and irregular shaped rim. Workman's mark to the base.

It measures 8.3cm (3 1/4") long, 6.4cm (2 5/8") wide and 3.5cm (1 3/8") high.
Condition is very good. There are 3 tiny 1mm nicks to the rim and one fractionally larger chip at 2mm. No cracks or repairs/restoration. Minimal handling wear.
