About this item
Superb large first period Worcester salad or junket bowl decorated in the pine cone pattern. Lovely shaped rim, the body with moulded detail of scallop shells, fluted centre and raised rim detail. Attractive pattern with main pine cone image in the centre and floral sprays and fruits in the sections surrounding and a scalloped band around the rim. The outside of the bowl is decorated with vegetables and a snail! Cross-hatched crescent to the reverse.
It measures 25cm (10 1/8") wide and 7.5cm (3") high.
Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and just some light surface wear from age and use.
