    About this item

An 18th Worcester porcelain teapot (lacking cover) from the first period, c.1770. Printed in the ever popular three flowers pattern with large floral sprays and butterflies. Hatched blue crescent mark to the base.

    It measures 17cm (6 5/8") long, 11cm (4 1/4") wide and 11cm (4 1/4") high to the spout.

Condition is good with just a very small frit to the tip of the spout and of course lacking the cover as previously mentioned. No repair or restoration and light handling wear. On one side below the pattern is a small area where the blue has run in a watery pool during manufacture.
