About this item
Sweet little Worcester blue and white bowl painted in the peony pattern, c.1770. Marked underneath with the wigornia W mark. An unusual size, too large for a tea bowl and too small for a slop bowl.
It measures 4 1/8" (10.5cm) wide and 2 1/4" (5.3cm) high.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. There has been a small blow out of the glaze inside the base from firing and another firing flaw outside. Very light surface wear.
