    About this item

A very nice Worcester porcelain tea canister of barrel form with funnel neck. Printed in the fisherman & cormorant pattern (also known as the Pleasure Boat pattern), c.1775. It is missing its original cover as is often the case. Crescent mark to base.

    It measures 12cm (4 3/4") high and 8.3cm (3 1/4") wide.

Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. There is a firing flaw at the rim manifested as an unglazed section just inside and over the rim and a short hairline within the top of the rim at this point.
