    About this item

Pretty early Worcester hexagonal teapot stand with fluted sides decorated in The Waiting Chinaman Pattern, c.1770, with later red and green clobbered decoration creating a very attractive piece. Some original gilded highlights finish it nicely.

Marked to the back with the Wigornia W.

    It measures 14.5cm (5 3/4") across the diagonal and 13.4cm (5 1/4") side to side and 2cm (3/4") high.

Condition is very good; there is a short hairline from the rim in the bottom left corner but no other damage or restoration and very good light surface wear.
