BLACK TRANSFERWARE POT LID
GLYSOPHATE FOR THE HAIR

This large Victorian 3 3/4” wide x 2 " tall covered ceramic earthenware container was made during Victorian times and contained Glysophate Salts which was a hair salve to kill head lice and other scalp ridden parasites. Who knows what happened when it absorbed into your scull.
The pieces are in good condition. A hairline to the side of the base and a small chip to the interior flange. Rare to find piece.
