Decommissioned from a museum. This outstanding dessert service is crisply transfer printed in black with a pearlware glaze. The pieces are dipped in blue slip glaze before being transferred. Fantastic royal blue color.
The pieces have wonderful scalloped rims with alternating flower panels, edges with gadrooning, and delicate reticulated handles. These rare shapes are as good as you will find.
Handled Dessert Platter - 12 inches x 9 1/2 inches
Two Petits Fours Plates - 9 inches x 9 inches
Five Serving Plates - 9 1/4 inches
The pieces displays beautifully and is in great never used condition.
