Sweet late 19th century Dutch silver miniature figure of a girl seated on an oversized rush seated chair in front of a stove with a large bowl on top, presumably with a fire inside and she appears to be holding a toasting iron over it with a small bowl and ladle on the floor beside her. Engraved chequerboard pattern to the base and fine cast and engraved detailing throughout. Marked to the base 925, Sterling and maker initial G in a lozenge. c.1890
It measures 3.9cm (1 1/2") by 3.4cm (1 3/8") wide and 3.7cm (1 7/16") high and weighs 24g/0.8ozt.
Condition is excellent.
