    About this item

A huge pharmacist's or apothecary's mortar & pestle, weighing just over 10kg, and dating to the late 19th century. The mortar is made out of vitrified porcelain, making it durable and very tactile. The pestle has a turned wood handle with attractively aged patina.

This statement piece would look fantastic in your kitchen.

In good original condition with minor staining.
