    VICTORIAN POLYCHROME TRANSFERWARE CABINET PLATE

    Brownfield and Son Potteries

    Tunstall, Staffordshire England  ~  c. 1883

    This large Victorian 10 1/2 " wide plate is transfer printed in black and hand painted in an  array  of colors under the glaze.  A red rim stripe to the rim.  Outstanding.

    English Artist Kate Greenaway was the premier children’s artist from the mid to late19th century.

    Never Used and Condition is great.  Clean and bright.  No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs.
