About this item
Lovely large Chelsea Derby porcelain bowl with artichoke leaf / pineapple moulding to the lower half and finely decorated with sprays of flowers in bright polychrome enamels. A gorgeous turquoise ground scrolled border at the rim framed with gilding, a gilt band around the foot and gilded rim with dentil detail inside.
Gold anchor mark to the base.
It measures 16.5cm (6 1/2") wide and 8cm (3 1/8") high.
Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. A floral spray inside the centre of the bowl has been rubbed but surface wear otherwise is very light, just a little to the gilded rim.
