About this item
An attractive large Worcester porcelain leaf shape pickle dish painted in the "pickle leaf daisy" pattern, c.1758-1765. Shaped serrated edge and with very finely moulded detail to the underside and marked with a workman's mark.
Reference: Worcester Blue & White Porcelain, 1751-1790, Branyan, French & Sandon, section I.E.41
It measures 15cm (5 7/8") long, 13.5cm (5 1/4") wide and 5cm (2") high.
Condition is very good. There are 2 short hairlines to the rim, one linked to a small chip, mainly noticeable on the underside, and another small chip under the edge of the rim. No restoration and minimal handling wear.
