About this item
Nice pair of Kent Staffordshire pottery spill vases, c.1900, modelled as a ram and ewe on a naturalistic base. The spill vases have a pretty pink ground inside and rimmed with gilt along with a gilded band around the base.
The measure 10.3cm (4") wide, 7cm (2 3/4") deep and 13.3cm (5 1/4") high.
Condition is very good; there are a few small, shallow chips under the base rim of one, no other damage or restoration. A couple of tiny paint flakes to the back of one spill holder, surface wear otherwise is very light.
