This is a pair of antique serving tureens. An English, ceramic lidded dish, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Clear, bright ceramic tureens with appealing blue and white decoration. Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order. White ceramic ground with blue decorative pattern beneath a quality gaze. Graced with the Lara pattern of flowers against a garden trellis.
Domed lid with serpentine handle, accentuated with foliate detail. Pair of handles to each side for ease of carrying during service. Lara pattern stamp to base with inset serial numbers to each.
This is a nicely presented pair of antique serving tureens, with the distinctive blue and white decorative pattern beloved of many English potters in the Victorian period. Delivered polished and ready to serve or display.
