Pair of Royal Doulton Stoneware Vases c1910
Very attractive pair of Royal Doulton Lambeth salt-glaze stoneware baluster form vases c1910. Raised beaded design with tubelined stylised art nouveau flowers and leaves. Attractive blue/green stippled colour to body and neck/rim with lighter blue on shoulder. The vases measure 26.5 cm in height and 13 cm at the shoulder. Both vases carry the incised Royal Doulton mark used 1902-1922 and artist's monograms (unidentified).
Overall in very good condition commensurate with age. One vase has a small and very good professional restoration to its rim (shown in last image) but is otherwise in excellent condition. The other vase is in excellent original condition. Salt-glazing naturally produced a stippled effect on the finished colour. Please see photos as these form an important part of the description.
