About this item
A lovely quality, pair of Wedgwood dark blue jasper dip Campana vases and covers. Both having impressed marks “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND”, they date from c.1900. One also has an impressed letter ‘J’ and the other has an impressed ‘Y’. They are quite a small size and the design works very well in this size. They are decorated, in relief, with bands of classical maidens and there are various foliate borders. The reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue.
Condition: It appears, to us, that one of the finials has been knocked off and put back. The finial is original but there is a mark visible where it joins onto the lid. This is very difficult to see but we feel that there is a fine line of glue there. Other than that they are in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 18cm. Diameter at rim 11cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £40. Most of Western Europe add £20.
