Large Blue And White Transferware Coffee Pot

This large blue and white coffee pot is decorated with a charming transfer printed scene of two seated ladies and a gentleman beneath a trellis, with mountains and a pavilion in the background. Above and below the main scene is a wide border pattern that is repeated on the rim and the lid. Another nice feature is the well defined ducks head spout. It stands 255 mm (10 inches) high to the tip of the lid, and has a diameter of 145 mm (5.75 inches). There are some small chips to the lid and one slightly larger one to the rim as well as a firing crack to the top of the handle. There is a backstamp to the base but it is illegible, and I haven't been able to attribute the pattern or the shape to a manufacturer. It would date from around 1830.
