An extremely rare pair of blue & white Irish flower bricks, a pair of English flower bricks are very scarce items indeed but Irish ones are impossible to find and only a very few have been recorded over the years ( under 10) ( see Irish Delftware by Peter Francis pages 123 - 125.) Made in Ireland circa 1740 these have some early repairs to the edges as is usually the case in early delftware , Irish Delftware is very very rare & to ,find a pair is unheard of , kilns of delt shards have been found in Dublin & Belfast.
