    About this item

    A lovely and rare piece of late 18th/early 19th century Wedgwood creamware. A large sized lemon strainer copying the silver shape, with flat lug handles to sit across the pot and deep bowl with attractive design to the pierced drainage holes. The rims edged in brown enamel and with owner's initials IC or JC. Impressed Wedgwood to the underside and some other small marks partially obscured.

    It measures 19cm (7 1/2") long, 10.3cm (4 1/16") wide and 2.9cm (1 1/8") high. 

    Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Light handling wear, some wear to the glaze on the tips of the handle points.
