About this item
A pretty Coalport porcelain tea and coffee trio in the "No. 7" shape with moulded shaped rim and double spurred pinched handle with acanthus leaf thumb rest. Painted internally with garden flowers in bright enamels on a white ground with ornate gilt embellishment. The outside of the cups with simple gilt decoration. Unmarked, c.1830.
The tea cup measures 10.3cm (4 1/16") rim to rim and 5cm (2") high. The coffee cup measures 8.2cm (3 1/4") wide and 6.3cm (2 1/2") high and the saucer is 14.5cm (5 3/4") wide and 2.8cm (1 1/8") high.
In very good condition with no damage, repair or restoration. Minor wear to the gilt on the saucer to the rim in places and the centre from stacking; minimal handling wear to the cups bar a little to the gilt star device in the centre of the tea cup.
