About this item
Very pretty Royal Crown Derby baluster vase set on pedestal foot with ornate scrolled twin handles and frilled moulded rim. Cobalt blue ground with white and gilded bands and fine gilded decoration. One side has a finely painted vignette of the Brigg Of Turk, signed by Cuthbert Gresley.
Scene named on the base. Also with printed Royal Crown Derby mark and cypher for the year 1920.
It measures 18cm (7") high, 9.5cm (3 3/4") wide across the handles and 9cm (3 1/2") wide across the body.
Condition is excellent with minimal surface wear all over but there is a small nick to the underside of the flange tucked underneath the foot.
