About this item
A charming miniature Christmas jug made by Royal Doulton. It comes from Doulton's Festive Series produced between 1904 and 1914. To the front is an image of Santa Claus with a sack full of toys, and to the back is a banner bearing the motto "Now trees their leafy hats do bare to reverence Winter's silvery hair". The base is marked with Doulton's backstamp. This tiny little jug would make a delightful Christmas gift.
There is a little minor crazing to the glaze but otherwise it is in good condition.
