    About this item

Beautiful Royal Worcester jewelled cabinet plate with exquisite central flower decoration painted by Ernest Phillips. The main body is white ground with very fine elaborate gilded decoration and meticulous hand applied "jewels" of white, orange and bright green.

Backstamp shows the plate was made for sale by The Cowell & Hubbard Co. of Cleveland and the Worcester mark dating from 1925 and red pattern number C2369.

    It measures 10 1/2".

Condition is excellent with no damage. There are a very few lost jewels. Otherwise minimal surface wear to the gilding and painting; I have taken an angled photo of the central painting to show the quality of the surface.
