About this item
A set of six Minton tiles printed, in brown, with landscapes set in a circular frame, surrounded by geometric and floral borders in the Arts Nouveau style. Each tile is marked “MINTONS CHINA WORKS STOKE ON TRENT” and they date from c.1890. The transfer printed landscapes are all very well detailed and the attractive borders are printed in two shades of brown. This is all on an ivory ground. One tile has a chip to a corner, two have tiny chips to the rims and the other three are all in excellent condition. This can all be seen in the images.
Dimensions of each tile:15.2cm. square by 1cm. thick.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
