Small Dümler & Breiden 1960s West German 153-11 Plant Pot
This is a lovely little plant pot / vase, made in the 1970s by Dumler & Breiden. Although not marked, research suggests they were the only manufacturer producing pattern 153-11.
Dumler & Breiden was founded in 1883 by Peter Dümler and Albert Breiden. It was located in Hohr Grenzhausen. During the late 19th and early 20th century they produced beer steins and punch bowls. The main designers were Ernst Dumler, Paul Zimmerling and Rudolf Christmann.
A yellow interior, the off white base of the exterior is highly decorated with circular patterms in green and brown.
An unusual model, this is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
