A stylish Spode bone china sucrier and cover with stand with a squared bombe shape, painted with brown enamel and gilt, pattern number 1023, an almost identical design to one seen on slightly earlier Worcester Barr period teawares. The sucrier base and stand both marked SPODE 1023 in red, c.1810.
