About this item
A pretty porcelain ewer form scent flask with raised twig-style handle and porcelain stopper mounted with a rose bud. Each side has a large spray of applied leaves and flowers with smaller daisy type flowers dotted over the rest of the surface and two colourful porcelain birds. Finished with gilt rims. Indistinctly marked SPODE in red enamel, c.1830.
It measures 12.7cm (5") high and approx. 7.5cm (3") wide.
Condition is very good: the tips of the birds' tails have been lost and some chips to the flower petals. No body damage and no restoration.
