About this item
This First period Worcester porcelain salad or junket bowl is decorated with the printed blue and white Pine Cone pattern. The central Pine Cone pattern is surrounded by prints of fruit and flowers. On the outside are prints of butterflies, fruit and vegetables, one of which is being feasted on by a snail. The diameter of the bowl is 261 mm (10.25 inches) and it stands 70 mm (2.75 inches) high. Overall it is in very good condition, but it does have two very small firing cracks to the footrim and some faint scratches to the centre. C 1780.
