    About this item

A sweet early 19th century pearlware figure of a girl standing against a tree stump on a rocky mound dressed in simple clothes and mob cap with flowers gathered up in a bundle in her apron. c.1810.

    She measures 13.8cm (5 3/8") high and 5cm (2") by 4.5cm (1 3/4") wide across the square socle base.

Condition is very good. She was holding a flower in her free hand which has been lost but no other damage or restoration. Some minor handling wear, including losses to some of the black enamel of her shoes and some of the black mottling of the trunk and mound. A very small scuff to the back of her cap.
