Staffordshire England c. 1885
This large aesthetic 6 " x 6 " Victorian tile is transfer printed in luscious brown. Enclosed in an ornate silver type frame.
The clear and crisp pattern features quarter sun and moons along the edges and a geometric background to a very psychedelic sunflower in bloom and bud. A very three dimensional piece of a rare pattern on a victorian tile. The pattern displays the Victorian eras love of nature.
Condition is great. Clean shiny and bright.
