    This is a stunning creamware transfer printed Plate.  It is very finely molded, measuring a large 10 inches wide.  It is transfer printed in a rich earthy forest green, decorated with fine botanical engravings and a rim is decorated with a simple ring of interconnected circles, a fantastic example of Aesthetic movement Victorian love of naturalistic beauty.

    The underside of bears the impressed mark of Wedgwood and dates to 1878 from the Staffordshire region of England.
