About this item
A Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip salad bowl and servers. The base of the bowl is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. The servers are not marked but there isn’t a flat surface where it would be possible to impress a mark. The rim to the bowl, and the spoons, are silver plated and they are all marked “E.P.N.S.” The bowl is decorated with a continuous band of classical figures and the servers are decorated with acanthus leaves and stylised floral sprigs. The relief decoration is all very good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich, shade fo blue.
Dimensions: Bowl: Diameter 23.5cm Height 9.5cm. Servers: Length 27.5cm.
Condition: The bowl is in excellent condition but there is a very tiny piece of the sprigged decoration missing from the tip of an acanthus leaf on one of the servers.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £30. Western Europe add £10.
